大阪で結成の男女５人組インディー・ポップ・バンド。国内では、CDEP『Filled With Flowers (2012)』、7インチアナログ『Dreamy Days (2013)』をFastcut Recordsより、カセットテープEP『Out To Sea (2015)』をMiles Apart Recordsリリース。国外では、2014年にJigsaw Records (米) / Dufflecoat Records (英)からFirefliesとのスプリット7インチをリリースし、Eardrums Pop (ノルウェー)のコンピレーションにLost Tapes (スペイン)との共作を提供している。
これまでに、The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart / Alpaca Sports / Dylan Mondegreen / TOPS / Colleen Greenら海外アーティストとの共演や、台湾にてManic Sheep主催の「POP! POP! FEST」、ニューヨークにて「NYC POPFEST 2015」に出演するなど、国内外に活動を拡げている。2017年5月には、中国・上海にて「Up A Tree – Indiepop Festival」へ出演予定。

Wallflower is a five-piece boy/girl indie pop band from Osaka, Japan. Their sounds are reminiscent of 80’s – 90’s indie pop bands like The Field Mice, Rocketship and bands from Sarah Records. So far they have released their 1st CDEP “Filled With Flowers” (2012) and 7″ single “Dreamy Days” (2013) from japanese label Fastcut Records. Cassette tape EP “Out To Sea” (2015) from Miles Apart Records. In the spring of 2014 they released a split single with The Fireflies from Dufflecoat Records (UK)/Jigsaw Records (US) and in Octover they did Taiwan tour. In May 2015 they had their first US show at NYC Popfest. They will play at 1st Chinese indiepop Festival “Up A Tree” in Shanghai on May 20-21, 2017.
